About Me
My name is Regina Grayer. I am a social studies teacher at EBR Readiness Superintendent Academy. I received a BA degree from LSU and a Master’s Degree from Southern University. Teaching is my passion and my calling. My philosophy is, “all children can learn.” This simply requires meeting them at their level and bringing them up to where they should be.
Class Procedures
- Everyday at the beginning of the class there will be direct instruction with classwork (50% of the grade)
- After the direct instruction go directly to your assigned computer.
- Laptops will only be used in classroom, do not request a laptop for other classes.
- Wait for teacher to give you instructions to log in.
- Once in E2020 course if you need assistance, raise your hand
- Please do not ask to be excused for class to go to the bathroom
- If you finish a test or quiz, raise your hand for assistance. Before continuing to
another unit or retaking an assessment, you must demonstrate that you have reviewed notes and done the assigned work by the teacher.
- There will be constant interventions or academic assistance in each course with one or more
students. During these sessions the class will continue to work on the computer without interruptions.
- You have the opportunity to get extra credit in some E2020 assignments when you participate in class answering questions and occasionally with a research project. But you lose your credit if you decided to disrupt the class in any way.
- There will be constant communication with the parents throughout the year by letters, phone calls, and conferences.
